he could also have been referring to a shop where only girls named wendy are working, but the place does not belong to them. then "wendies" would be correct.

In my office there are a number of HVAC engineers. It's necessary to give them **** all the time to keep them from thinking that they're important. HVAC engineers are a lot like -A-.
They're defiantly lower on the societal contributors scale than lawyers or government contractors, that's for sure.
